BASIC GREEN SMOOTHIE

Ingredients
  • 1 green apple, cored and chopped
  • 1 handful washed baby spinach
  • 1 thumb of fresh ginger, peeled
  • ½ cup cucumber, chopped
  • 1 cup of almond milk
  • 1 cup of ice
Instructions
  1. Use a high-powered blender like a Nutribullet or Vitamix.
  2. Add of the ingredients and blend until smooth.
  3. Simple, quick and delicious!
Notes
You can replace the ginger with mint or a squeeze of fresh lemon
You could use plain yoghurt instead of the almond milk to increase the protein content of the smoothie.

To make thinner add more water, to make thicker add more ice.
