Chewy oatmeal apple biscuits are great for a treat, but they are still a source of sugar, so don’t go munching down the whole lot in one go.
The oats provide a great source of fiber and help lower the GI.
I have chosen dried cranberries because they are lower GI and a richer source of antioxidants, but you can use raisins if you wish.
The pecans give a great flavour and are a source of healthy fat and extra fiber, but you can give these a skip, just add more oats so that your mixture isn’t too wet and sticky.
